BUSINESS ASSISTANT

SBAN is looking for talented, dedicated and performance driven, fresh university graduate or entry level individual to work with SBAN team on attractive projects and activities in forthcoming period.

We want an ambitious and enthusiastic person with strong self motivation skills and team player ready to take responsibility for specific tasks in the same time.

SBAN is planning the set of activities with the goal to promote equity investments in Serbia and the region, communication with entrepreneurs and investors from Serbia and abroad, as well as communication and maintaining relationships with international investment funds looking for investment opportunities in the region. SBAN is offering a spectrum of fundraising services that includes writing of applications/proposals for EU financed projects, business plan evaluation, due diligence of companies prior to investment, preparation of companies/entrepreneurs for negotiations with investors and off course matchmaking service between formal and informal investors and companies looking for investment.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Manage relationships with SBAN members (business angels, investors) and entrepreneurs looking for financing for their projects
• Manage relationships with SBAN partners (organizations from Serbia, region and EU)
• Preparation and writing of the projects for various funds (EU, IPA, CIP, FP7, GIZ, USAID, etc.)
• Organization and leading of SBAN promotional activities: maintain SBAN website and other social media pages; represent SBAN on various events (conferences, workshops, etc.) and assure the SBAN's presence and exposure in the media. Meetings with media representatives, press announcements (internet and printed media), organization of promotional conferences, etc.
• Writing of reports and media announcements from various events and activities (conferences, trainings for entrepreneurs and business angels, etc.)
• Event follow-up activities
• Involvement and work on other projects where SBAN is participating

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Management, Finance or Engineering
• Fresh graduates / entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
• Written and spoken fluency in English is a must
• Usage of MS Office package (Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook, (MS Project is a plus))
• High communication and presentation skills both in Serbian and English
• Proactive, self motivated and assertive person
• Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet goals and deadlines
• Understanding of engineering / technology / ICT sector  is advantage
• For fresh graduates prior working experience (during studies) in student organizations, NGOs or any other organization/company is advantage
